Once upon a time, many years ago now, a young girl named Madelene adored dancing. You
could say she had a dancing heart.

There wasn’t a kind of dance Madelene didn’t love– from graceful ballet moves to whirlwind
jazz steps, jiggy Irish dancing to passionate Latin grooves, she twirled and pirouetted
wherever she went.

But tap was Madelene’s favourite. She liked the staccato sound her feet made – it was like
the music was flowing through her, creating a rhythm that seemed her very own.

One day while watching her perform, her mum, Anne, had a grand idea. Wouldn’t it be lovely
to create a fun, colourful wardrobe for girls and boys who loved dance just like Madelene?

As Madelene grew, so did her passion. She became a professional dancer; swirling, swaying,
arabesque-ing and tapping through every day. It was a dream come true.

Over the years, Madelene and Anne would think now and then about what their ideal dance
wardrobe might look like.
